Welcome to OM yoga shala. To a yogi, no symbol is more powerful than the syllable OM, as witnessed by these words from the Mandukya UP-anishad: “OM: this eternal word is all; what was, what is and what shall be.” Our mission at OM yoga shala is to promote health and overall wellness, enabling people to restore harmony and live a balanced, more authentic life.

Whether your focus is on a specific health condition, lifestyle and stress-management or to unite, harmonizing mind, body and spirit – our classes, programs and services are your answer to achieving that balanced lifestyle.
OM Yoga Shala provides a relaxed and serene environment for you to learn yoga and develop your own yoga practice. We offer 90-minute drop-in classes regularly. Refer to our class schedule to download a copy of our up-to-date monthly calendar!

OM Yoga Shala is proud to present for the first time in Canada and at the Shala, Special Guest Yoga Teacher, Yogi Amitram from India coming this Winter to Canada and OM Yoga Shala to share his vast knowledge and experience of Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation, and Yoga Nidra to balance the body, mind and soul.

We will be offering teacher training, as well as Workshops and Specialty Classes, offered to all level of students as well as teachers led by this gifted and renowned Yogi.

Hot Yoga Class
Practitioners of hot yoga believe the heat extends the ability of the ligaments, tendons and muscles. Immersing yourself in hot yoga practice is said to: release toxins, improve flexibility and range of motion, increase the chances of weight loss, develop muscle tone, build the immune system, reduces the symptoms of certain chronic illnesses, such as thyroid disorders, arthritis, joint pain and circulatory problems.

Not Suitable for Pregnant Women and those with Hypertension.
